The Safety Management screen for parents displays your student's PIN/QR code and the reunification location (if applicable) when there is a Safety Management event at the school, such as a lockdown, fire, or bad weather. This PIN/QR code will need to be provided to school staff when you reunify with your student.
If configured by your student's school or district, a banner may display at the top of the screen in Focus when a Safety Management event is active at your student's school. Click the Details button to navigate directly to the Safety Management screen.
You may also receive emails, SMS, phone calls, or push notifications from the school during an active event.
1. In the menu, click Safety Management.
The Safety Management screen is also accessible in the menu after clicking the arrow next to your student.
The PIN is displayed for your student(s). If the student must be picked up at a specific location, the Reunification Location will display the pickup location.
2. Click the PIN link to view the QR code in a pop-up window. A school staff member may scan the QR code upon student reunification.
3. Click the X to close the pop-up window.
