The Safety Management screen for parents in the mobile app displays your student's PIN/QR code and the reunification location (if applicable) when there is a Safety Management event at the school, such as a lockdown, fire, or bad weather. This PIN/QR code will need to be provided to school staff when you reunify with your student.
If configured by your student's school or district, a banner may display at the top of the screen in the mobile app when a Safety Management event is active at your student's school.
You may also receive emails, SMS, phone calls, or push notifications from the school during an active event.
1. After logging in to the mobile app, tap the Safety Management icon on the bottom of the screen.
Alternatively, tap the menu icon and tap Safety Management in the menu.
The PIN is displayed for your student(s). If the student must be picked up at a specific location, the Reunification Location will display the pickup location.
2. Tap the PIN link to view the QR code in a pop-up window. A school staff member may scan the QR code upon student reunification.
3. Tap in the empty space to close the pop-up window.
